Kansas point guard Devon Dotson announced that he will be putting his name into the NBA draft pool.

Dotson averaged 12.3 points, 3.7 boards and 3.5 assists for the Jayhawks this season. He’s a dynamic point guard that is just a freshman, but his size and questions about his ability to shoot and protect the ball likely mean that he’ll need another year or two before he can leave school and feel comfortable getting drafted.

Kansas has quite a bit in the air during this offseason. Quentin Grimes, Dedric Lawson and Udoka Azubuike all have tough decisions they need to make about their future.
