Penn State’s Tony Carr to declare, sign with agent

Penn State’s Tony Carr is headed to the NBA.

After the Nittany Lions made a run in the Big Ten tournament and won the NIT, Carr made the decision that he will forego his final two seasons of eligibility and intends to sign with an agent.

Carr averaged 19.6 points, 5.0 assists and 4.6 boards for Penn State this season. His departure is a massive blow for Pat Chambers’ team, as the Nittany Lions looked like a team that would have had a chance to be ranked in the top 25 next season had he returned.

Carr is projected as a borderline first round pick.
