Syracuse transfer Taurean Thompson has landed at Seton Hall.

According to the Asbury Park-Press, Thompson is now enrolled at the University and on track to take over the reins in Kevin Willard’s front court after Angel Delgado and Ishmael Sanogo graduate.

Thompson is a former top 100 recruit that grew up in New York City and spent the early parts of his high school career at St. Anthony HS in Jersey City. As a freshman at Syracuse, Thompson averaged 9.2 points and 3.8 boards but transferred out to be closer to home. Newark is certainly closer to home than Syracuse is.
