Georgetown is in need of a big week in Maui.

The Hoyas coughed up a win at home to rival Maryland. Days later, they got pummeled by Arkansas State in a wire-to-wire loss.

Georgetown opened the Maui Invitational with No. 13 Oregon and was strong out of the gates thanks to the offensive production of Rodney Pryor and L.J. Peak. Pryor caught fire late in the first half during a 13-0 run. After Oregon strung together four quick points, Pryor beat the buzzer with this running 3-pointer.

He ended the half with 18 points.

Pryor, the graduate transfer from Robert Morris, was 7-of-19 in Georgetown’s previous two losses, being limited against Arkansas State due to foul trouble. He debuted for the Hoyas by dropping 32 points against USC Upstate.
