Creighton and N.C. State meet on Sunday night in a matchup of two tournament-caliber teams, headlined by point guards Maurice Watson and Dennis Smith.

However, the Wolfpack will be shorthanded, as Maverick Rowan will miss a third consecutive game due to a concussion, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.

N.C. State is in the semifinals of the Paradise Jam at the U.S. Virgin Islands. The winner of Sunday’s game takes on the winner of Saint Joseph’s and Ole Miss. Rowan traveled with the team, according to the News & Observer.

The 6-foot-7 sophomore has not played since the season-opening win against Georgia Southern. Rowan poured in 17 points and was one-rebound shy of a double-double.

N.C. State is also without freshman small forward Ted Kapita, who did not travel with the team to the Paradise Jam due to an issue with his visa. Touted freshman center Omer Yurtseven was suspended for nine games by the NCAA back in October due to money he earned playing professionally in his native Turkey.
