On Sunday, top-ranked Duke will be without the services of Harry Giles, Jayson Tatum and Marques Bolden again. The Blue Devils’ opponent in the Hall of Fame Tip-Off championship game, No. 21 Rhode Island, will be at full strength.

Rhode Island junior point guard Jarvis Garrett, who left Saturday’s win over No. 24 Cincinnati with a neck injury, has been cleared to play against Duke, according to Jeff Goodman of ESPN.

Late in the first half, Garrett crashed into the stanchion and then appeared to hit the back of his head/neck on the camera on the baseline. He was removed from the court on a stretcher.

The Rams completed the comeback in the second half, knocking off the Bearcats 76-71.

Garrett is averaging 5.8 points and 4.3 assists per game for Rhody.

Aside from the absences of the three heralded freshmen, Duke could be without starting forward Chase Jeter as well. The 6-foot-10 sophomore left Saturday’s victory over Penn State with an ankle injury.
