The first AP poll of the season was released on Monday afternoon, and it should come as no surprise that Duke remained fully entrenched at No. 1 in the country after winning a pair of games this week.

North Carolina and Indiana jumped up to No. 5 and No. 6, respectively, while Kansas fell all the way to No. 7 after losing to the Hoosiers.
