The AP announced their 2016-17 Preseason All-American team on Wednesday, and it should come as no surprise that Duke’s Grayson Allen was the top vote-getter.

Cal center Ivan Rabb, Villanova’s Josh Hart, Oregon wing Dillon Brooks and Monte’ Morris of Iowa State were the four other members of the AP first team.

Josh Jackson (Kansas), Markelle Fultz (Washington) and Thomas Bryant (Indiana) were the three closest players to making the cut.

The NBCSports.com Preseason All-American teams were announced in late September. Our first team differed from the AP’s.
