The rumors of John Calipari heading to the NBA are seemingly never-ending, but the Kentucky head coach has done what he can to try and convince people he’s not interested.

This week, he said that he will remain at Kentucky as long as his son is a walk-on in the program.

“My son’s now here so my son’s walking on, I’m not gonna leave,” Calipari told ESPN.com. “I would say four to five years is a lock and then after that, [shoot], I may be hanging it up. At that point I’d be 60, 61. I never thought I would coach past the age of 60 because ... basketball isn’t my life.”

The Wildcats are loaded once again this season, with a roster talented enough to get Cal back to the Final Four.
