Arizona landed a commitment from Brandon Randolph, a top 40 wing from New York, on Wednesday afternoon.
Randolph picked the Wildcats over Syracuse, Wake Forest and Oregon. A 6-foot-5 wing, Randolph has the reputation of being a high-level shooter with three-point range, but he’s athletic enough to get to - and finish above - the rim while being a competent piece on the defensive end of the floor.
Randolph joins Deandre Ayton, the No. 1 player in the Class of 2017, and top 100 point guard Alex Barcello in Sean Miller’s recruiting class. As of today, the Wildcats have the best class in 2017.
