A big commitment is happening on Thursday as five-star Class of 2017 power forward Jaren Jackson Jr. will announce his college decision tomorrow.
The 6-foot-10, 220-pound Jackson is regarded as the No. 15 overall prospect in the Rivals.com Class of 2017 national rankings and he’ll decide between Georgetown, Maryland, Michigan State, Notre Dame and Purdue.
A native of Indiana with roots to the East Coast thanks to his dad’s playing days at Georgetown, Jackson is a talented forward who shot 39 percent from three-point range and still protected the rim on defense. Wherever Jackson ends up, it will be a major addition for the next level and Jackson has a lot of upside to get better and be a big threat on both ends of the floor.
Thank you to all of the schools that have recruited me. I'll be sharing my decision tomorrow on my birthday. 🏃🏾...🚶🏾 pic.twitter.com/R1KtrXnX8h
