Oklahoma head coach Lon Kruger landed his second commitment in the Class of 2017 on Thursday morning, dipping his toes into Scandanavian recruiting waters and reeling in 6-foot-11 Hannes Pöllä, according to a report from Scout.com.
Polla, who just turned 18 years old, averaged 7.6 points and 8.2 boards for Finland at the U18 Nordic Championships this summer.
He joins Brady Manek, a 6-foot-7 power forward rated 129th in 2017 by Rivals, in Oklahoma’s recruiting class.
According to the report, Pöllä picked the Sooners over Tulane and Penn State.
