Seton Hall added a piece to its backcourt late this week as former Wake Forest guard Madison Jones will finish his career with the Pirates, a source confirmed to NBCSports.com.

The 6-foot-1 Jones was previously dismissed by Wake Forest last August for a violation of athletics department policy and he should give Seton Hall another player to help offset the loss of Isaiah Whitehead to the NBA Draft.

As a junior, Jones played in all 32 games for the Demon Deacons as he averaged 4.7 points, 3.0 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game.

Jones obviously isn’t going to replace Whitehead’s outstanding production all by himself, but Seton Hall is hoping that a combination of Jones and incoming freshman guard Eron Gordon -- the brother of former Indiana star Eric Gordon -- can do the trick.
