Seeding: Fresno State will likely find itself as a No. 12 or No. 13 seed.

Names you need to know: Senior guard Marvelle Harris is a bonafide star at the Mountain West level as he averaged 20.7 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game. Junior forwards Torren Jones and Karachi Edo have also been consistent scorers this season.

Stats you need to know: Fresno State is 223rd in the country in 3-point percentage and they’re not particularly great at shooting from the perimeter. The Bulldogs have a lot of talented players, but not a lot of consistent shooters.

Big wins, bad losses: Fresno State’s only two top-50 wins came against San Diego State as they lost to Oregon and Arizona. The Bulldogs did have some bad losses against Cal Poly and San Jose State.

How’d they get here?: Fresno State beat UNLV in the quarterfinals, Colorado State in the semifinals and San Diego State in the championship game to get the autobid.

Outlook: Marvelle Harris is a really tough cover for a double-digit seed and Fresno State’s roster is filled with high-level transfers who have played at bigger programs. This is a quietly dangerous team that could be a tough out.

How do I know you?: Fresno State is filled with transfers from bigger schools including Julien Lewis (Texas), Cezar Guerrero (Oklahoma State), Torren Jones (Missouri) and Jahmel Taylor (Washington).
