Villanova remained the top team in this week’s Coaches Poll for the second straight week, racking up 25 of the 32 available first place votes.

It provided a bit of consensus after a week where there was none, and that’s mostly due to the fact that seven of last week’s top ten teams took a loss.

Kansas, with a win at Oklahoma, jumped up to No. 2 in the polls with the remaining seven first place votes. I wonder how people would view both Kansas and Oklahoma if Khadeem Lattin had hit a free throw to beat the Jayhawks in Phog Allen Fieldhouse or if Buddy Hield’s free throw had forced overtime in Norman over the weekend.

Anyway, here is the full Coaches Poll:

1. Villanova (22-3, 25 first-place votes)
2. Kansas (21-4, 7)
3. Oklahoma (20-4)
