Texas sophomore wing Jordan Barnett will transfer, according to a release from the school. The 6-foot-6 native of St. Louis never found consistent minutes under former head coach Rick Barnes or current head coach Shaka Smart.

A former four-star prospect, Barnett has played in four games during the 2015-16, earning 24 minutes and scoring 13 total points. For his two-year career at Texas, Barnett only played 203 total minutes.

The move is probably better for Barnett to move elsewhere and get more playing time while this opens up an additional scholarship for Smart on the recruiting trail.
