Oklahoma State guard Phil Forte, who hasn’t played since injuring his elbow on Nov. 19th, may be out for the rest of the season, according to his head coach, Travis Ford.

“Phil Forte’s not gonna come back, I’m sure,” Ford told reporters after Oklahoma State’s win over TCU. “That’d be my bet. He’s over six weeks since it happened. And he hasn’t been on the court yet. So I’m just trying to put two plus two together.”

Forte tore a ligament in his left elbow, which is his non-shooting elbow, while diving for a loose ball against Towson.

Forte averaged 15.0 points last season.
