VIDEO: Rick Pitino appears to flip-off Kentucky fans

Louisville lost to Kentucky in Rupp Arena on Saturday afternoon in one of the best game’s of the season.

Pitino was not happy about the outcome, for a number of reasons. If falling to 1-8 against his arch-nemesis, John Calipari, while in the Bluegrass State wasn’t bad enough, he also missed out on his final chance to secure a quality non-conference win this season. And he did all that while spending two hours on the day after Christmas having to listen to giddy Kentucky fans tell him all about his record against Cal and the escort scandal that erupted back in October.

And that’s before you take into account how frustrated he was about the officiating throughout the game.

In other words, Pitino was not happy about the way the game ended.

But was he angry enough to flip off the Rupp Arena crowd? It sure seems that was in this video, although it’s difficult to make out if he’s actually holding up any fingers when he holds up his right hand while leaving the floor:
