Duke announced on Monday that senior forward Amile Jefferson will be out indefinitely with an undefined right foot injury.
“This injury is unfortunate, to say the least, but Amile is strong in both person and character,” Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski said. “He will continue to be an integral part of this team, and we will support him fully as he rehabs this foot injury.”
Jefferson is averaging 11.4 points and 10.3 boards this season.
Duke is currently ranked No. 7 in the country. They have not played since Dec. 5th, but will return to the floor on Tuesday against Georgia Southern.
