Arizona picked up a nice win over a scrappy Fresno State team on Wednesday night, getting 27 points from freshman Allonzo Trier and using a 15-2 run to pull away down the stretch.

The final score was 85-72.

But the final score wasn’t the most important outcome of the game, as Arizona seems to have lost another player to injury.

Already dealing with Ray Smith tearing his ACL and Kaleb Tarczewski missing time with a stress reaction in his foot, Arizona now looks like they are going to be without starting guard Kadeem Allen for a little while. Allen sprained his right ankle, head coach Sean Miller confirmed after the game, and needed help getting carried off the court. He had 13 points and five assists when he got hurt.

Elliot Pitts missed the game on Wednesday night as well, although Arizona would only refer to the reason why he sat out as “personal issues”.

After the game, Miller said that this team has dealt with more injuries since the start of practice than every team that he’s ever coached previously combined.
