Ole Miss lands three-star guard

Ole Miss has landed their third recruit in the Class of 2016, as Breein Tyree announced on Monday that he has committed to the Rebels.

Tyree is a three-star guard out of New Jersey that played his high school ball for local powerhouse St. Joseph’s. A talented combo-guard, Tyree is an explosive athlete at 6-foot-1 that can finish above the rim. He’s less of a pure point guard than he is a natural playmaker, a guy that can score or create looks for his teammates off the dribble.

He joins a pair of JuCo forwards -- Tyrek Coger and Justas Furmanavicius -- in the Class of 2016.

Tyree picked the Rebels over Kansas State and UMass, among others.
