Rawle Alkins is the No. 9 player in the Class of 2016, according to Rivals, a powerful scoring guard with the handle and flair that you would expect out of a kid from New York City.
Alkins -- whose game is reminiscent of another power guard from New York, Lance Stephenson -- is being pursued by just about every program in the country. Over the summer, he told NBCSports.com that “Duke is the only program that hasn’t offered me a scholarship”.
Recently, Alkins made the decision to leave the city and transfer to Word of God Academy in North Carolina. They’re getting quite a talented player.
