The American released its full schedule of conference games in men’s basketball for the 2015-16 season. The conference season for the league will begin with a trio of games on Dec. 29 which includes a SMU and Tulsa rematch in a game that decided the regular season title to end last season.

SMU is the favorite to repeat in the league this season, but UConn, Tulsa and Cincinnati all have talented teams to compete for the title as well.

Other games of note include Cincinnati playing at UConn on Jan. 28, SMU at UConn at Feb. 18, and UConn turning around and playing at Cincinnati two days later on Feb. 20. Tulsa opens the conference in difficult fashion. After the opener against SMU, the Golden Hurricane play at Cincinnati on Jan. 2nd.

Conference play will end the weekend of March 5-6 as USF plays at Tulsa on Saturday night and four games -- including SMU at Cincinnati -- tip on Sunday, March 6. Before those weekend games, UConn plays at SMU on Thursday, March 4, making the final weekend a huge stretch for Larry Brown’s team.

The conference tournament for the American will take place in Orlando from March 10-13 to end the season.
