With new head coach Chris Mullin taking over this season, many eyes will be drawn to St. John’s to see how a new-look roster under a first-year head coach performs. Mullin and the Red Storm announced their non-conference schedule early this week, as it includes the school’s first ever trip to the Maui Invitational and also a game at Madison Square Garden against Syracuse.

St. John’s will take on Vanderbilt in the opening round at Maui and play the winner of Indiana and Wake Forest after. The Red Storm will also travel to Fordham for its true first road game and they also play Rutgers and a neutral site game against South Carolina.

With a roster filled with new pieces, this is a pretty challenging schedule for Mullin, especially since he has the Maui Invitational.
