Nebraska is heading to Spain for 10 days during the middle of August in a trip that should be very beneficial to their young players.

In a story from Lee Barfknecht of the Omaha World-Herald, the Huskers are preparing by trying to get freshmen like forward Ed Morrow and guard Bakari Evelyn up to full speed after the duo had minor offseason foot surgery. The team is also working to get a visa for Australian forward Jack McVeigh, who will join the team overseas after taking some online courses this summer.

These foreign trips are always helpful because of the 10 extra practices and the extra games and Nebraska can experiment with a few new pieces after a disappointing 2014-15 season. If the team can find some pieces around Shavon Shields before the regular season begins it will be a successful offseason.
