Michigan announces non-conference schedule

Michigan announced their non-conference schedule on Monday morning, and while it’s not the strongest that you’ll come across this season, John Beilein’s club will be tested prior to Big Ten play.

After a pair of cupcakes to kick off the season, the Wolverines will host Xavier before making the trip to the Bahamas to take part in the Battle 4 Atlantis along with the likes of UConn, Gonzaga, Texas and Syracuse. When they get back, the Wolverines will head to Raleigh for a date with N.C. State and, a week later, head down to Dallas to square off with Larry Brown and SMU.

Nov. 6: LeMoyne (Exhibition)
Nov. 13: Northern Michigan
Nov. 16: Elon
Nov. 20: Xavier
Nov. 25-27: Battle 4 Atlantis (UConn, Gonzaga, Texas, Washington, Texas A&M, Syracuse, Charlotte)
Dec. 1: at N.C. State
Dec. 5: Houston Baptist
Dec. 8: at SMU
Dec. 12: Delaware State
Dec. 15: Northern Kentucky
Dec. 19: Youngstown State
Dec. 23: Bryant
