Less than six months after he verbally committed to remain in state and play at Washington, four-star guard JaQuori McLaughlin (Gig Harbor, Washington) announced in mid-May that he was reopening his recruitment. With the ability to play either on or off the ball, the 6-foot-3 McLaughlin has received a substantial amount of attention throughout the summer.
Friday it was reported by Scout.com that McLaughlin has settled on a list of five schools, with Lorenzo Romar’s Huskies still in the running.
Also being considered by McLaughlin are Oregon State, Utah, Wisconsin and Gonzaga, with visits to Corvallis, Salt Lake City and Madison already scheduled. According to the report McLaughlin will first visit Oregon State the weekend of September 4, with trips to Utah and Wisconsin set for the next two weekends.
