Arizona State and new head coach Bobby Hurley were able to reel in a late commitment for the 2015 class on Tuesday as forward Andre Adams committed to the program, a source confirmed to NBCSports.com. An active, 6-foot-9 forward, Adams is a great addition for Hurley at this point in the recruiting calendar.

Rivals regards Adams as a three-star prospect and he’s viewed as the No. 130 overall prospect in the 2015 class. Adams is joined in Arizona State’s 2015 class by junior college prospects small forward Maurice O’Field and forward Obie Oleka and guard Andre Spight. Good on the glass and a good end-to-end floor runner, Adams can play uptempo and should fit Hurley’s tempo well.

Hurley was able to bring a few talented players into the fold right away and he’ll likely look to address more long-term concerns in the upcoming classes of 2016 and 2017.
