The opening round of the 2015 Las Vegas Invitational will give us one of the better non-conference matchups on the west coast, as Cal will square off with San Diego State, a source told NBCSports.com.

West Virginia, who is fresh off of a 25-win season and a trip to the Sweet 16, will draw Richmond in the other semifinal.

Cal is a legitimate contender for the Pac-12 title this season, as the Golden Bears not only returned Tyrone Wallace, Jabari Bird and Jordan Mathews but added top five freshmen Jaylen Brown and Ivan Rabb to the mix as well. SDSU will be the favorite to win the Mountain West, as Malik Pope and Winston Shepard both opted to return to school.

The tournament will take place at the Orleans Arena in Vegas on Nov. 26th and 27th.
