Some of the greatest players in both organized basketball and street ball have played at New York’s famed Rucker Park over the years and now one of the most hallowed grounds in the sport will host its first ever live period game.

According to a release from adidas, next week’s adidas Uprising All-American Camp in New York will have a camp game played at Rucker Park, in front of college coaches, next week. The game, which is scheduled to tip at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15 will be a really fun way for some of the best players in the country to break up the monotony of camp basketball by playing outside in front of a lively crowd.

I’m sure the players will get a kick out of it and the mixtape guys will eat it up if some highlights are made at one of the most famous courts in America. No roster for that specific game as been released by adidas yet, but some of the top players in the camp include five-star Class of 2016 prospects like point guards Dennis Smith and Kobi Simmons, New York native and shooting guard Rawle Alkins and five-star forward Edrice “Bam” Adebayo.
