Arkansas added a local member to its 2016 recruiting efforts as junior college All-American guard Daryl Macon committed to the Razorbacks. The 6-foot-3 guard had a big impact at Holmes Community College in Mississippi as a freshman, averaging 23 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game. Macon also shot 46.5 percent from the field, 36.9 percent from 3-point range and 88.5 percent from the free-throw line.
Macon hails from Little Rock and the shooting guard is the first person to commit in the Arkansas 2016 recruiting class. With the way he can fill it up, Macon sounds like a nice grab for Arkansas. The Razorbacks could look to pair him up with another in-state recruiting target in Malik Monk, a five-star guard in the high school Class of 2016 who also comes from Arkansas.
