St. Louis native Jayson Tatum is down to four schools and he could decide among his finalists during the busy recruiting month of July. Duke, Kentucky, North Carolina and Saint Louis make up the Class of 2016 star’s final schools and according to a report from Steve Clark at Scout.com, the 6-foot-8 Tatum could end his recruitment in July.
It would be a major development if a top-five player like Tatum ended things early, because so many premier prospects in recent years have waited until the spring to see how the potential NBA Draft landscape plays out. If Tatum decides early, it could have a domino effect and aid the recruitments of other players for the program that gets him to commit.
Duke and Saint Louis have been the perceived favorites in Tatum’s recruitment, but Tatum said he’s open to all four schools.
