Oregon State is moving on without a key piece of last year’s team as Connor Letourneau of the Oregonian reported that junior Victor Robbins has been dismissed from the program.

The 6-foot-7 Robbins played in 15 games for the Beavers last season and was suspended for 10 games for a violation of athletic department policy. After the eighth game of the 10-game suspension, Robbins was cited for DUI and his suspension was increased to the rest of the season.

The sixth man for Oregon State, Robbins was third on the team in scoring last season at 10.3 points per game. Robbins shot 46 percent from the field and also collected 3.5 rebounds per contest.

While losing a contributing member of the team isn’t great news for Oregon State, given Robbins’ issues last season, this isn’t a surprising development.
