With four seniors and All-American point guard D’Angelo Russell moving on, Ohio State will have a far different look in 2015-16. Head coach Thad Matta adds five freshmen to a roster that will have just one upperclassman in junior forward Marc Loving, and on Wednesday he announced that the team’s non-conference schedule has been completed.

The Buckeyes will play neutral site games against Memphis (November 27) and Kentucky (December 19), and their lone non-conference road game comes December 12 when they visit UConn. Also of note on the Buckeyes’ schedule is their game in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge, as they host two-time defending ACC regular season champion Virginia December 1.

Ohio State opens its season November 15 in Columbus against Mount St. Mary’s, with that being followed by three home games that are part of the Basketball Hall of Fame Invitational. The Buckeyes will host Grambling November 17, with UT-Arlington visiting two days later and Louisiana Tech on the 20th.

Ohio State’s game against Memphis a week later will be played in Miami, with Kentucky and USF meeting in the Basketball Hall of Fame Classic game as part of that doubleheader. Ohio State’s game against Kentucky is part of the CBS Sports Classic, with North Carolina facing UCLA in the other game of that doubleheader at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
