Earlier this week, 32 of the top high school players in the country arrived at Colorado Springs for the 2015 USA Basketball Men’s U16 National Team training camp.
USA Basketball provided an inside look at the two-week training camp session.
On Friday, the list of players was nearly cut in half with 17 finalists emerging for the 12-man team, according to Josh Gershon of Scout.com. Among the finalists were forwards Jarred Vanderbilt and Wendell Carter, both ranked in the top-10 in Rivals’ Class of 2017 rankings.
The USA U16 will participate in the 2015 FIBA Americas Championship (June 10-15) in Bahia Blanca, Argentina.
