Thursday afternoon the full field for the 2015 Continental Tire Las Vegas Invitational was announced, with a California program expected to take a major step forward being one of the headliners. Also playing in the event are San Diego State, Richmond, West Virginia, Hawaii, Sam Houston State, Bethune-Cookman and Liberty.

The eight-team event will split into two four-team brackets for the games in Las Vegas, which are scheduled for November 26 and 27 at the Orleans Arena. Prior to those games each of the four host programs (Cal, Richmond, San Diego State and West Virginia) will host two games against teams in the other bracket.

Of the eight teams two reached the NCAA tournament in 2015, with West Virginia losing to Kentucky in the Sweet 16 and San Diego State falling to eventual national champ Duke in the Round of 32. Richmond played in the Postseason NIT, reaching the quarterfinals.

Matchups for the on-campus and Las Vegas games will be announced at a later date.
