As a sophomore at Hill College, Bellot-Green put up 14.6 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. He shot 45 percent from the floor and a really solid 47 percent from 3-point territory. After taking a visit to UNLV over the weekend, the Ontario native opted to join the program.
The forward joins five-star center Stephen Zimmerman, four-star wing Derrick Jones and four-star point guard Jalen Poyser in UNLV’s 2015 recruiting class. It’s a very solid group of four players who should help contribute right away next season. Canada continues to be a strong recruiting pipeline at UNLV under head coach Dave Rice’s tenure. Poyser is also Canadian and the Runnin’ Rebels have also had Anthony Bennett and Justin Jackson, a 2016 forward commit, is also from Canada.
