Deandre Burnett will be continuing his college basketball career at Ole Miss.

The former Miami guard announced on Monday that he will be transferring to the SEC school for his final three years of college.

“Thought I was gone be a Cane forever, but today I’m officially a Rebel!” Burnett wrote on twitter.

The 6-foot-2 guard from Miami Gardens, Florida, averaged 7.0 points in his redshirt freshman season with Miami. He’ll be eligible to play in 2016-17 after sitting out next season. Barring a waiver from the NCAA for a sixth season of eligibility, Burnett will have two seasons to play when he gets eligible.

Burnett was one of two guards, along with Manu Lecomte, to transfer out of the program this spring.
