The 6-foot-1 guard had a big freshman season at Robert Morris, averaging 15.1 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. Reed also shot 49 percent from the field and 41 percent from 3-point range. After sitting out the 2015-16 season due to NCAA transfer rules, Reed will have three years of eligibility remaining and has a chance to see if he can continue to play well at the ACC level.
The freshman had 22 points and played 37 minutes in a loss to Duke in the Round of 64 during the 2015 NCAA Tournament, so he’s at least done it before.
