Rasheed Sulaimon is among the top transfers this offseason.

The former Duke guard is on track to graduate this summer, giving him immediate eligibility at his next school. According to Jeff Ermann of InsideMarylandSports.com, Sulaimon visited former conference foe Maryland on Thursday.

Last week, Ermann reported that the Terrapins were one of 10-15 schools interested in Sulaimon’s services. Maryland is among the most intriguing because the addition of the 6-foot-5 shooting guard would bolster the Terrapins perimeter, which returns All-American point guard Melo Trimble. Maryland is ranked in the top-5 of College Basketball Talk‘s Way-Too-Early Preseason Rankings with Trimble and senior forward Jake Layman joined by transfer Robert Carter Jr. and five-star center Diamond Stone.

Arizona State, Memphis and Texas are among the other schools in pursuit of Sulaimon, according to Ermann.

Sulaimon, the former McDonald’s All-American, averaged 7.5 points in 20 games for the Blue Devils during his shortened 2014-15 season. He was dismissed from the program on Jan. 29 for being “unable to consistently live up to the standards required to be a member of our program.”

Last Thursday, Sulaimon spoke publicly for the first time since his dismal, denying allegations of sexual assault. He was not charged in either alleged incident.
