The 6-foot-10 Narain is currently regarded as the No. 62 player in the Class of 2016, according to Rivals, and he plays his high school basketball at powerhouse La Lumiere in Indiana.
Narain plays on the grassroots circuit with UPlay Canada in the adidas Gauntlet and San Diego State coaches were tracking his games in Indianapolis during the second live evaluation period. The Aztecs beat out Gonzaga, Narain’s top two schools, for his services.
With long arms and solid athleticism, Narain is a good long-term prospect with a developing skill set. There is some talk that Narain could end up in the Class of 2015, as Scout.com‘s Brian Snow reported last month, but Narain didn’t specify which class he has committed to.
