Shane Rector has committed to Utah State, according to a report from JucoJunction.com.
Rector was a three-star recruit and a borderline top 100 prospect in the Class of 2013, when he was a high school senior. The point guard ended up at Missouri, but he played just 23 games as a freshman before transferring out of the program. Rector wound up at Miami Dade College, spending a year in the Junior College ranks.
Rector will be a nice addition for the Aggies, who return essentially everyone from their rotation from a season ago.
Utah State will have plenty of back court depth, as Rector will join a perimeter attack that already includes juniors Chris Smith and Darion Perkins, sophomore JoJo McGlaston and freshman Julion Pearre.
