Eric Paschall is expected to commit to Villanova on Friday, according to a report from SNY.
Paschall will have three seasons of eligibility remaining, but he will have to sit out the 2015-16 season due to NCAA transfer rules.
Paschall was one of the most talented freshmen in the Atlantic 10 this past season. The 6-foot-6 wing from Dobbs Ferry, New York, averaged 15.9 points and 5.5 boards this past season, although he shot just 31.5 percent from three and posted a 1-to-2.8 assist-to-turnover ratio.
Villanova was one of five schools on Paschall’s final list, as he picked the Wildcats over Providence, Florida, Kansas and returning to Fordham.
He’ll effectively join five-star big man Omari Spellman in Jay Wright’s 2016 recruiting class.
