Sam Malone finished his walk-on career at Kentucky last week after the Wildcats lost to Wisconsin in the Final Four. Like the seven Wildcats who announced they’d be leaving for the NBA on Thursday, it’s time for Malone to cash in.

The Kentucky guard is selling T-shirts that say “SAM MALONE ZONE” on the front and “I won every game I played in” on the back.

The Cats were 18-0 when Malone played, eight of those coming this past season.

According to Kyle Tucker of the Courier-Journal, the T-shirts range from $24.99 to $26.99. Malone has already decided to give 25 percent of the profits to the Autism Society of the Bluegrass.

“I’m looking forward to meeting with the fans probably more than they are to meet us. It’s absolutely incredible, the power of Big Blue Nation,” Malone told Tucker. “You can’t take yourself too seriously with this stuff, especially being a walk-on, because people are going to make fun of you and you’re never going to play, but you know your role on the team and the team knows what you bring to the table.”

I think it’s a safe bet that the Kentucky walk-on, with 25,000 Twitter followers, will do just fine in this latest business venture.
