Manu Lecomte and Deandre Burnett will be leaving the Miami program, according to an announcement from the school.
“We thank both Manu and Deandre for their contributions to the Miami basketball program for the past two seasons,” said Larrañaga in the school’s press release “We wish them the best in their future.”
Lecomte is a 5-foot-11 guard from Belgium that averaged 7.9 points as a sophomore. He was terrific at times for the Hurricanes, playing a major role in the upset win over Duke this season, but he also looked destined to be lost in the shuffle.
Lecomte played just five minutes in a loss to Stanford in the NIT title game.
Burnett is a redshirt freshman. He missed his first season in Coral Gables with a wrist injury. Last season, he averaged 7.0 points.
