Kansas freshman forward Cliff Alexander became the second Jayhawk to declare for the 2015 NBA Draft, sources confirmed to NBCSports.com.

Jeff Goodman of ESPN and Evan Daniels of Scout.com both reported the news on Tuesday evening via Twitter. Kansas forward Kelly Oubre entered the draft on April 1.

Alexander, the 6-foot-8 McDonald’s All-American, didn’t seem to have much of an option. He was missed the final eight games of the season as the NCAA looked into concerns regarding his eligibility.

Alexander averaged 7.1 points and 5.3 rebounds per game for the Jayhawks. He is currently slotted as the first pick in the second round, according to DraftExpress.com.
