With Terry Rozier, Montrezl Harrell, Wayne Blackshear and Anton Gill all departing the program, Louisville head coach Rick Pitino needed to add some experience to his 2015-16 roster to go along with his talented recruiting class.

He did so on Tuesday afternoon when highly-touted graduate transfer, Trey Lewis, announced that would enroll at Louisville.

Lewis averaged 16.3 points per game as a junior at Cleveland State, earning Horizon League first team honors. He announced his intent to finish up his college career elsewhere on March 31. The 6-foot-1 guard will provide a boost in an area the Cardinals struggled in this past season: 3-point shooting, hitting 96 threes (42 percent) on the year.

Less than a week after losing in the Elite Eight to Michigan State, Pitino announced Rozier and Harrell would declare for the 2015 NBA Draft and Gill, the reserve guard who came up big in a Sweet 16 win over NC State, would transfer.

The newest addition joins a highly-regarded recruiting class, consisting of power guard Donovan Mitchell, sharpshooter Ryan McMahon and forwards Ray Spalding and Deng Adel.
