State 65: Montrezl Harrell finished with 24 points, seven boards and four assists and Terry Rozier added 17 points, 14 boards and four assists as the Cardinals advanced past the Wolfpack with a 75-65 win. It’s the 11th time in 20 seasons that Rick Pitino has reached the Final Four, setting up a matchup the only coach that can match him in terms of tournament success.
  • No. 7 Michigan State 62, No. 3 Oklahoma 58: Travis Trice had 24 points and Denzel Valentine added 18 as Tom Izzo led his Spartans to within a game of the Final Four. Michigan State will be squaring off with Louisville for the right to get to Indianapolis.
  • No. 1 Duke 63, No. 5 Utah 57: Jahlil Okafor scored in single digits for just the second time this season and Quinn Cook went without a made three-pointer for the first time in 45 games, but that didn’t matter, as the Blue Devils got 21 points and 10 boards from Justise Winslow to get to the Elite 8. Tyus Jones finished with 15 points and three assists, hitting 9-for-10 from the charity stripe.
  • No. 2 Gonzaga 74, No. 11 UCLA 62: The Zags reached the Elite 8 for the first time under head coach Mark Few as they overpowered UCLA in the paint. Przemek Karnowski led the way with 18 points and nine boards while Byron Wesley chipped in with 14.

DUNK OF THE NIGHT: The game was already over, but N.C. State’s Caleb Martin didn’t care when Montrezl Harrell decided to challenge him at the rim.

PASS OF THE NIGHT: Gonzaga’s Przemek Karnowski goes behind-the-back ... twice!
