UCLA had cut the deficit to three early in the second half before Gonzaga went on a 16-3 run. The highlight of that spurt was Przemek Karnowski’s no-look pass to Domantas Sabonis for the dunk.
Moments later, UCLA decided to double Karnowski on the block once again. And Karnowski continued to make the Bruins pay with a behind the back dish to Sabonis (seen below) for the layup. That bucket put the Zags up 57-43 with 6:18 remaining in the first of two Sweet 16 games at NRG Stadium in Houston.
