The major talking point for West Virginia’s game against Kentucky in the Sweet 16 was that Mountaineer press and the damage that it can cause.
But that’s not what went viral.
Daxter Miles Jr.'s guarantee was. “I give them them their props,” he said. “Salute them to getting to 36-0. But tomorrow they’re gonna be 36-1.”
Don’t think that didn’t go unnoticed. Kentucky won 78-39, and they had some things of their own to say after the game:
